Hi! We are Ian and Christy Franklin and we are the owners of Home Buyers ICT. Ian was born in WICHITA and has lived here most of his life. He has always been an entrepreneur from a very young age and is passionate about connecting with everyone he meets. I, myself, was raised in WICHITA but moved away to the DFW metro for career opportunities in property management and gained a great understanding of people. I moved back to WICHITA shortly after Ian and I reconnected in 2015.
WICHITA has been our home and we see so much opportunity and growth here locally, which is exciting to see for our family’s future. We share a vision to help people achieve their dreams and want to help them get started in their own businesses as well. We truly see the potential in our market for many years to come.
Over the course of our six years, we have built a business together and worked together from day one. We began working on foreclosed and bank owned homes in WICHITA as a handyman company, then quickly covered the entire state. Ian obtained his General Contractors license and we started to network with WICHITA property managers and investors. We saw there was a need to take care of repairs and renovations the right way in distressed homes so they could be sold back on the market. As soon as the pandemic hit, we had to pivot quickly as all of our work stopped suddenly. We downsized quickly, found a more affordable place to live and basically started from scratch all over again.
